Some things you need to know:
- All registered kids are disbudded, unless otherwise stated. Scurs are possible, and we do not offer any guarantees that our goats will not have them, though we try our best to avoid that.
- All kids are tattooed, unless otherwise stated. Tattoos can and do fade, we do not guarantee a legible tattoo. Tattoos will need to be checked and re-done by the buyer if they fade.
- Our buck kids sold as pets are sold without papers but are intact (unless arrangements have been made for the buyer to have them castrated, at their cost) since delayed castration is beneficial to the buck kids health.
- We will not sell one goat (adult or baby) by itself unless there is already at least one goat at the new home.
- Registered kids are sold with registration papers or applications from ADGA unless otherwise specified.
- If the kid(s) are being dam raised, we wean around 7-10 weeks of age. Kids must be picked up within 2 weeks after weaning, or a $2 per day boarding fee will be charged unless otherwise agreed upon. If the kid has not been picked up within 30 days from the date of weaning, unless mutually agreed upon in writing, the sale will be considered forfeited, and any fees paid nonrefundable.
- We do not guarantee temperament. Dam raised kids may be wild or skittish.
Pedigree:
Our goats are registered with ADGA unless otherwise specified. If we bred the animal, we guarantee the sire and dam are correct. We DO NOT guarantee the validity of the rest of the pedigree, or pedigree of animals we did not breed, as it is simply out of our ability to know/verify goat lineage from other herds is 100% accurate.
Warranties:
We will offer a replacement on the following congenital issues of a purchased animal we bred IF PROOF* IS PROVIDED:
- Teat defects – congenital issues only, not injury related.
- Cryptorchidism – one or both undescended testicles.
- Severe heart murmur – veterinarian diagnosis required.
- Starting in 2026; Goats tested with two copies of Congenital Myotonia (CM) AND there is proof* provided that the animal is physically affected. The goat must be tested within a year after purchasing for this to apply, and papers on that goat relinquished to us prior to any replacement given. Those situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
We are not responsible for any goat once it leaves our property. So please do your due diligence vetting transports if you are not picking up yourself. Goats get sick on transports, even under the best of conditions. We only guarantee they are healthy when they leave our possession.
We do not guarantee what ANY of our goats sold may produce later in offspring. This would include goats that pass defects such as extra or spur teats, cryptorchidism, over height, or other conditions. There are too many variables at play regarding passing potential genetic defects, and therefore we do not make any guarantees regarding the future offspring of sold goats.
We do not guarantee our goats from developing future defects, such as maturing over height, carpal hyperextension, pendulous udder, or any other condition that occurs after they have left our farm.
We currently do not test for CM. Effective starting 2026 for new goat purchases, buyers may request and pay for CM testing prior to the animal leaving our farm if they want to know carrier status. If the goat is still in our care and comes back with 2 copies, we will refund the deposit and forfeit the sale at the buyer’s discretion. Otherwise refer to "Warranties; Number 4.
Transport for replacements are the responsibility of the buyer and arrangements must be made within 30 days of agreed replacement unless otherwise agreed.
You have the right to inspect/have the goat inspected prior to leaving our property. Once the goat is transported off our property, whether you elected to have the goat checked or not, you accept it AS IS.
*Proof means video or photo evidence of the goats and if not “visually evident” a statement from a veterinarian.

We accept checks (must have time to clear the bank before the animal leaves), PAY PAL, cash, and VENMO. If you wish to pay via PAY PAL or VENMO you will be responsible for any transaction fees associated with that form of payment, or payments should be made using “friends and family.” Balance of payment on your goat or goats will be due upon notification that they are ready to leave for their new home and must be paid in full prior to the time of transport.
